Get to know the Angels of Mercy

Sharing and Caring

The Angels don’t judge, they just help. The Angels of Mercy non-profit organization began with a West Island women Catherine Lemieux who started it all out of the trunk of her car and now it has expanded into a busy operation with 4 rotating teams bringing a little warmth to Downtown Montreal. We see it is a way to bring goodwill to man and not just on Christmas. Everything makes sense once the Angels of Mercy see a smile on the homeless people's faces. Catherine Lemieux mentions that their smiles and thank yous are more than enough. The Angels of Mercy volunteers load their cars with donation items and they head out to the heart of Montreal to put a smile on the homeless people’s faces. Once we arrive, we see a line up of more than 100 homeless people, all ready to happily receive our generous donations.
